Building Blocks Of Vending Machines

Planet Antares Inc offers vending machines that use four main kinds of raw materials. These include the following:

• Galvanized steel
• Lexan or other plastic
• Acrylic powder coatings
• Polyurethane insulation

Major portion of the vending equipment is manufactured from galvanized steel ranging from 10 guages to 22 guages in thickness. For the outside cabinets, external doors and internal tank the thicker guages are used. These areas require internal guages for internal door and plates, can stacks and mechanisms such as coin validators and product trays.

Lexan is a tough polycarbonate plastic that is used to create the front panels of Planet Antares vending machines. When it comes to thickness, sheets of lexan in the vending machine can range from 0.13 in to 0.25 in.

You can be assured of good durability with Lexan sheets. It is very difficult to break, flame retadant, easy to shape and can be treated to restrict UV rays, light and heat transmission. Silk screening of product logos, names and illustrations is done on lexan sheets. Thus, you save money by cutting down on energy and replacement costs and improve vending machine durability.

For painting the vending machine surface, acrylic powder coatings is used. It offers the best overall exterior durability and can be formulated into products with excellent chemical, detergent and stain resistance. It also gives a smooth and high gloss finish for your Planet Antares machine. Apart from this, acrylic powders meet the governmental environmental standards too.

Insulation of the interiors is done through polyurethane foam. It creates a seamless, waterproof, durable covering layer. It also adds structural stability to both the cabinet and the tank of the machine.
